Today's Baked Good was banana bread. It had flaked coconut and slivered almonds. The crust had a puzzling saltiness, so I trimmed off the crust before serving. It is unclear to me whether it was the salt or possibly the baking powder. This is another topic to review in my baking chemistry text.
