New Nasturtium

This is the first bloom on this late-bloomer. I'll be re-using the nasturtium pots for the peppers very soon. It's clumsy using the laptop and the video camera to post, which is why I haven't posted much lately.

Nasturtium and pansy

I've had some troubles in the past couple of days. My desktop computer stopped working, which means I had to find and then charge the video camera to take garden pics because my digital camera saves to floppy disk and my laptop does not have floppy drive. This morning an even more disruptive event occurred: the wind blew over the grohouse containing about forty basil plants and a dozen pepper plants. That was a big mess. It was cold and windy all day. several pansies died from dehydration. I uppotted almost all the pepper plants that had been in the grohouse. A few of the basil plants might survive. The nasturtium will be waning very soon and I will use those pots for tomatoes and peppers.
